Luciana was brought up at home in Rome with her grandparents - Luciana's dad was Manlio Paoluzzi an Italian army officer and her mom was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was the one of Benito's lover's wives. There is no information on whether there were any siblings. Luciana was a student at an elementary school in the area before going to the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two women in her class. Her modeling career began within two years.
